Elders are to be held with the utmost respect from cats of all Clans. They have served the Clan well in the past as apprentices and warriors. During their youth, they took care of the elders of their generation.
Warriors can be assigned the task to find a missing cat (for instance, a kit or apprentice who wandered away from the camp) or to look for information.
It is considered rude and disrespectful to address a cat by his or her former name (that referred to a lower rank), for example, to address a warrior by their apprentice name or a leader by their warrior name.
